Motorola One Action Launched with Triple Rear Cameras and 128 GB Storage
Motorola finally introduced the Motorola One Action, a new member of the Motorola One family that stands out for the presence of an ultra-wide 117 ° camera designed to supplant action cameras.
The Motorola One Action maintains the design and most of the features of the One Vision, except for the presence of a triple camera instead of a dual.
The brand new cell phone is part of the Android One family, which guarantees operating system updates for two years and three years of immediate security patches.
Main Features
Although it might seem that Motorola's One Action is part of the glass mobile club, the truth is that the last member of the company's catalog is made of plastic, although the front and rear panels are joined by an aluminum chassis which gives the device greater rigidity. Also, its body is protected against splashes with a P2i waterproof coating.
Without even leaving the back, we can find the fingerprint reader, which shares the position with the brand logo, as well as the triple camera system located in the upper left corner.
Its front is led by a large 6.3-inch diagonal screen, with a 21: 9 format. This is an IPS panel with Full HD + resolution, whose upper left is a hole for the front camera. For the rest, Motorola has done a good job in reducing the margins surrounding the screen, and only the "chin" is somewhat steeper than the rest of the bezels.
The Motorola One Action comes with an eight-core Samsung Exynos 9609 chip capable of running at a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz. Broadly speaking, this processor is nothing more than a somewhat less powerful version than the Exynos 9610 that mount models like the Samsung Galaxy A50.
It is identical to Motorola One Vision, with an Exynos 9609 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Its battery is 3,500 mAh capacity, and the brand's own Turbo Power fast charging technology is not lacking.
Action camera
The main distinguishing feature of the Motorola One Action is the presence of a third ultra-wide-angle camera of 16 MP and with an angle of view of 117 ° (four times more than a standard 78 °), capable of recording 1080p videos.
Designed to impersonate Go Pro-style action cameras, the lens allows you to record videos by holding the phone vertically and looking at it, without losing details, horizontally.
Yes, it will not be necessary to rotate the cell phone to record a video horizontally. The opening of the camera allows you to hold it more comfortably, vertically, in the conditions that an action camera would be used, and watch the content as desired.
The lens has an aperture of f/2.2 and electronic stabilization to offer better results than the cameras of other cell phones.
Motorola ensures that the lens has a sensitivity four times higher than other cell phones when capturing brightness, something that makes it ideal for recording videos in low light conditions.
The feature is very reminiscent of the built-in Motorola One Vision, with a camera capable of taking photos even when the environment has virtually no light .
The triple camera combo is completed with a 12 MP and f/1.8 aperture that records videos in 4K and a third, designed for depth, with a 5 MP and f/2.0 sensor.
Motorola One Action price and availability
The Motorola One Action comes at a starting price of 288 dollars and begin to sold from August 16.
