Motorola Moto E6 Plus Launched with 4 GB RAM and Dual Camera

Motorola did not want to miss the IFA 2019 without taking advantage to announce new devices. Thus, we have attended the launch of the new Motorola One Zoom which, by the way, has not come alone. He has done it accompanied by the Motorola Moto E6 Plus, a device that is framed in the mid or lower-midrange.

The device matches what was leaked from him at the time. It is a simple smartphone, with a large format screen and two cameras in the back. It comes with a U-shaped notch and a modest processor that is accompanied by a restrained price. Let's get to know him a little better.

The Motorola Moto E6 Plus has a crystallized finish in which the module with the double camera, the LED flash, and the fingerprint reader integrated into the brand logo predominate. In the lower part, we have the micro USB port next to the speaker and, in the upper edge, the headphone jack.

If we turn it over and look at the screen we will see that the lower chin is pronounced and that the panel is stretched upwards thanks to a U-shaped notch. If we adhere to the specifications, the Motorola Moto E6 Plus has a diagonal of 6.1 inches with HD + resolution (1,560 x 720 pixels) and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio that, according to Motorola, occupies 90% of the front.

Performance by a MediaTek Helio P22

We took out the scalpel to take a look at the internal components of the phone, where we found a configuration of its range. The Moto E6 Plus has a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, an SoC that we know well and has eight cores at a maximum speed of 2 GHz.

It is accompanied by 2 or 4 GB of RAM (there is no intermediate version of 3 GB) that can be combined with 32 or 64 GB of internal storage expandable up to 512 GB with microSD cards. The operating system is Android 9 Pie and it works with a removable 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging of 5-10W.

As for connectivity, we have 4G LTE, WiFi compatible with the 2.4 GHz band, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and micro USB port. Note that there are two models: one with Micro-SIM and one with Micro SIM plus Nano-SIM. Following in the wake of other low-end or mid-range models, the Motorola E6 Plus has no NFC.

We ended up reviewing the photographic section, where we found a rear camera composed of two sensors: a 13 megapixel main with f / 2.0 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels and a 2-megapixel ToF that, as we know, serves to improve reading deep in the portrait pictures. The camera for selfies, hidden in the notch, has an 8-megapixel resolution with f / 2 aperture and 1.12-micron pixels.

Motorola Moto E6 Plus Versions and price

The Motorola Moto E6 Plus will be available in four colors: Polished Graphite, Bright Cherry, Rich Cranberry and Caribbean Blue. It will go on sale from October with a price of 155 dollars for the 2 GG + 32 GB version and 177 dollars for the 4GB + 64 GB model.
