Nokia 7.2 Full Specifications: With Triple Rear Camera, and 6.3 Inch Full HD Plus Display
In a segment dominated by manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Nokia tries to stand out by focusing on a triple camera, a promising screen and a somewhat more refined design than usual.
Nokia continues to make its way in the mid-range with the new Nokia 7.2, an intermediate performance smartphone that stands out, mainly for three aspects: a careful design, new screen technologies and a triple camera of up to 48 megapixels.
Nokia 7.2 Main Features and Specs
The screen, 6.3 inches in size, makes use of LCD technology and offers a Full HD + resolution. Behind it is a dedicated processor that converts all the contents displayed on the screen into HDR. The manufacturer calls this technology "PureDisplay" and is also present in the Nokia 6.2.
Android One, three cameras on the back region, Android One and a refined design. Those are the four main aspects of Nokia 7.2.
In the rear region, there are three main cameras, which are included in a metal circle similar to that used by Motorola in some of its phones. The main camera has a resolution of 48 megapixels and makes use of Quad Pixel technology, which groups the information from four adjacent pixels to collect a greater amount of light and, therefore, produce better images in adverse light conditions. Next to it is a five-megapixel sensor whose only function is to capture the depth and the third camera of eight megapixels with a wide-angle lens.
The central axis of the phone is a Snapdragon 660 from Qualcomm, similar to the Snapdragon 660 and 665 that Xiaomi already incorporates in its Mi A2 and Mi A3. Next to this SoC is a module with 4GB and 6 GB of RAM, between 64 and 128 GB of internal storage - expandable by microSD cards - and a rechargeable 3,500 mAh battery through the USB-C port.
The Nokia 7.2, like other devices of the brand, is part of the Android One program, which guarantees a uniform experience, periodic security updates and minimal customization by the manufacturer. The stores will arrive with version 9 of the operating system, although the update to Android 10 is expected to arrive a few weeks after its commercial launch.
Nokia 7.2 Price and Availability
The Nokia 7.2 will arrive in stores at the end of September. The version of 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage will cost 330 dollars, while the variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will be sold for 385 dollars.
