OPPO A5 2020 Comes with 5000 mAh Battery and 128 GB Storage

Although OPPO has focused much of its efforts on its Reno line (proof of this is the new OPPO Reno 2 series consisting of three models), it has not neglected the rest of its catalog. Thus, in the same way, that we already know the successor of OPPO A9, OPPO A9 (2020), the Chinese company has also presented the next generation of OPPO A5.


The new OPPO A5 (2020) is neither more nor less than the twin brother of that OPPO A9 (2020) because it shares with it the most benefits: 6.5-inch screen, Snapdragon 665 processor, 5,000 mAh battery, four-lens rear camera ... Where are the differences? Very simple: in the resolution of your cameras and the available RAM options.

OPPO A5 (2020) Main Features

The OPPO A5 (2020) has a large 6.5-inch screen with a somewhat poor resolution, which remains in the HD + (1600 x 720 pixels) that houses a drop-type notch in the upper center where the front camera is installed. With this and its reduced margins, it achieves a screen utilization rate of 89 %. The fingerprint reader will be found on the back of the device. We will also have a double speaker with Dolby Atmos technology.

In the machine room of the device, we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 eight-core processor, next to the Adreno 610 GPU. It is a solvent processor that can be found in smartphones such as the Xiaomi Mi A3 or the Redmi Note 8. Also, we will have to choose between 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage, expandable by microSD cards up to 256 GB. All this hardware will be used to move an operating system based on Android 9 Pie under the customization layer of ColorOS 6.01.

As for the photographic section, the OPPO A5 (2020) has a system of four rear cameras, consisting of a main sensor of 12 megapixels with focal f / 1.8 (in the OPPO A9 2019 it is 48 megapixels) next to a sensor of 8 megapixels wide-angle of 117 degrees , a third sensor of 2 megapixels for deep shots and a fourth sensor of 2 megapixels for photos in Macro mode. It also includes a night photography mode "Ultra Night Mode 2.0" to improve our shots in low light conditions. For its part, its front camera is 8 megapixels (f / 2.0 ), with Artificial Intelligence functions for Beauty Mode.

Regarding the battery, we are facing another of the highlights of the phone, since it has a powerful 5000 mAh battery that is compatible with reversible charging via USB OTG, so we can use it to charge other mobiles or devices compatible. Among its connections, the OPPO A5 (2019) has an (outdated) micro USB port, along with Dual SIM and Bluetooth 5.0.

The OPPO A5 (2020 ) appears on the OPPO Pakistan website and will be marketed in two versions, in colors Mirror Black (black) and Dazzling White (white).
