OPPO A9 2020 Launched with 8 GB RAM and Quad Rear Camera

A few days ago, the Chinese company OPPO presented the new OPPO Reno2 series composed of three models with one important feature in common: all of them have four sensors on their back. And precisely that same benefit is what we also have onboard the successor of OPPO A9, which has been officially announced.

The new OPPO A9 (2020) arrives with the Snapdragon 665 processor and a 5,000 mAh battery among its features. Let's see it in detail.

Battery and photography as tricks

The new OPPO A9 (2020) has a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution (1,600 x 720 pixels) and a drop-shaped notch that gives it an advantage of the front, according to OPPO, of 89%. This panel also offers a brightness of 480 nits and a contrast ratio of 5,000: 1.

Under the hood, we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor next to the Adreno 610 GPU, Game Boost 2.0 technology and two RAM options: 4 and 8 GB, in both cases with 128 GB of internal storage. As an operating system, it comes standard with ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie.

It also has a fingerprint reader located in the back, double stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos and a battery, attention, 5,000 mAh capacity, which can be used as a power bank to recharge other gadgets. Just do not expect fast charging or wireless charging, and keep in mind that it is recharged through a micro USB port.

In the photographic equipment, it is where we find another of its outstanding characteristics in the OPPO A9 (2020) incorporates a quadruple composite rear camera composed of a 48 MP main sensor, another 8 MP sensor and two other 2 MP sensors. It also has 117-degree wide-angle, LED flash and Ultra Night Mode 2.0 night photography mode.

As for the front camera, it integrates a single 16 MP resolution sensor with f / 2.0 aperture and Artificial Intelligence functions for Beauty mode.

OPPO A9 (2020) Versions and prices 

The OPPO A9 (2020) will be sold in two variants depending on the RAM (4 or 8 GB), but both will include 128 GB of internal storage. It will be available in two gradient colors, Marine Green and Space Purple, at a price.

• 8 GB + 128 GB = 280 $

At the moment, the phone appears on the OPPO Pakistan website and is scheduled to go on sale in India on September 16, but it is unknown if it will reach other countries.
