Realme XT Launched with 64 MP Rear Camera and 8 GB RAM
Realme, a subsidiary of the manufacturer OPPO, presented on Friday (13) a new smartphone with intermediate price, but with various functions of a premium handset.
Realme XT Features
Betting on a 10-nanometer Snapdragon 712 processor, the device will reach consumers in versions with 4 GB, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Another variable feature is UFS 2.1 internal storage, which can be either 64 GB or 128 GB. Regardless of which version they choose, buyers will still find a microSD card slot that can expand their smartphone's ability to save their data. The new gadget features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution, which features a built-in fingerprint reader. The promise is that the device can read the information in 334 milliseconds, with an area of sensitivity doubled over previous models.
The battery Realme XT, making a total capacity of 4,000 mAh. According to the manufacturer, the new 20W VOOC charger is capable of 100% charge after 80 minutes of plugging into a power source. The design follows the line of previous devices, betting on a curved rear window (with Gorilla Glass 5 protection ) with an effect known as “ Hyperbola Light Streak ”.
The Realme XT will bring the operating system Android 9.0, but the manufacturer has ensured that he will receive the Android 10 in the first quarter of 2020.
64 MP camera
The highlight of Realme XT is the 64 MP f / 1.8 camera with Samsung's GW1 sensor, which takes up to 34% more space than the main competitors. While by default Realme has opted for the device to capture images at 16 MP, buyers can use Ultra 64 MP mode to record photographs at 9212 x 6192 pixels.
At the rear, we also find an 8 MP ultrawide (119-degree angle) camera, a 2 MP sensor dedicated to capturing depth information, and a 2 MP sensor for macro photography. At the front, the manufacturer bets on a 16 MP camera for capturing selfies.
Realme XT price and Release date
So far, the device is only for sale in India, where it arrives to compete with Xiaomi devices. The release is scheduled for September 16th, with prices varying by model:
- 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage - $ 225
- 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage - $ 239
- 8 GB RAM and 128 GB Storage - $ 268
