Huawei Nova 5z Full Specifications, Price and Release Date

Huawei officially unveiled the Nova 5z. It's a mid-range smartphone, and it comes with four rear cameras and a price that starts at just over 200 dollars.

This is, at the outset, just another member of the Nova line. However, with interesting features for the price at which it will be sold. One is the Kirin 810 processor, which will guarantee great performance for the price, and great potential for those who play on the smartphone.

Quad Camera and Punch Hole Display

Mobile phones with a camera under the screen will arrive, but so far one of the solutions to the dilemma is to put the camera directly on the screen. Huawei has been doing it in the Nova series since the Nova 4 and this Huawei Nova 5z continues the tradition, mounting the 32-megapixel front camera in the upper left corner.

The edges are relatively tight on this 6.26-inch LCD screen and with Full HD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080). The camera mounted on the screen has already become something like routine, so that the company has not shared the rate of use of the front, which we assume should be around 91%.

Huawei is marketing the phone focused on the profile of young gamers, although the photographic aspect is not neglected. As we mentioned before, the front camera is 32 megapixels and with the help of artificial intelligence to achieve better photos in situations with poor lighting.

Behind, the Huawei Nova 5z has a quad-camera that is very similar to that of the Huawei Nova 5T, although the distribution is different: square module with two to two rows instead of a vertical strip as in other Huawei Nova.

In the lenses, great versatility is anticipated when taking snapshots, with the main sensor of 48 megapixels and aperture f / 1.8, a wide-angle of 8 megapixels, a 2-megapixel sensor to take macro photos at 4 cm distance and Another 2-megapixel sensor for depth calculations.

Kirin 810 and 6 GB of RAM

Inside this Huawei, Nova 5Z includes the Kirin 810 processor, a pair of Cortex A76 cores that run at 2.27GHz and a sextet of Cortex A55 cores that run at 1.88GHz helped by the DaVinci NPU. From the software, it comes to help improve the GPU Turbo performance and the ARK processor.

As for the battery, we have 4,000 mAh with support for fast charging of 20W. Having presented in China, there is no news about whether it includes Google services or not, although it technically has Android 9 with the EMUI 9.1 layer.

Huawei Nova 5z versions, Release date and prices

At the moment the Huawei Nova 5z is official in China, where you can book right now on Vmall, although it will start selling on November 1. It is available in two versions: 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB and in three colors: blue, black and green. These are the prices:

• Huawei Nova 5z of 6 + 64GB, 1,599 yuan, about 226 dollars to change.
• Huawei Nova 5z of 6 + 128GB, 1,799 yuan, about 254 dollars to change.
