OnePlus 7T Pro Full Specifications, Price, Features and Release Date
After an anticipated OnePlus 7T, the Chinese firm decided to meet in London to announce the second part of this new smartphone delivery. Thus comes the new OnePlus 7T Pro, the renewed edition of which, since its launch in May, is considered by many to be the best mobile of all 2019.
Unlike the 7T, the OnePlus 7T Pro does not introduce substantial changes to the OnePlus 7 Pro, although they may be sufficient to attract the attention of those who decided to pass the model presented in the middle of the year.
OnePlus 7T Pro Key Features
- Fluid AMOLED 6.67 inches at 60-90 Hz
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus
- 8/12 GB RAM 12 GB only for McLaren Edition
- 256 GB storage
- OxygenOS 10 based on Android 10
- Triple rear: 48 MP + 8 MP + 16 MP
- Sony IMX471 16 MP front camera
- 4,085 mAh battery
Change-free design and the same “soft” screen
If it were not for the new coat of paint that covers your back, it would be difficult to differentiate the new OnePlus 7T Pro from the original OnePlus 7 Pro. The design of both phones is practically traced; The curved glass body is kept surrounded by a bright aluminum chassis, and the large, also curved screen, which occupies almost the entire front.
This is a 6.67 inch Fluid AMOLED panel, with Quad HD + resolution and refresh rate of 90 Hz, which does not bring changes to the integrated into the 7 Pro.
Of course, there is no lack of the optical fingerprint reader integrated into the screen, nor the motorized module located on the top of the phone, which makes the camera for selfies appear to the user's liking.
The only change in terms of physical appearance is found behind the phone. And is that the OnePlus 7T Pro, unlike its twin brother, takes the laser focus sensors outside the triple camera module.
The jump to Snapdragon 855+ with OxygenOS 10
Yes, but not too much, the brain that gives life to the phone changes. OnePlus is committed to the renewed Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus platform, an overclocked edition of the Snapdragon 855, which promises better graphic performance despite maintaining the same Adreno 640 GPU.
It also increases the capacity of its battery, which goes from 4000 to 4,085 mph, and also comes the support for fast charging Warp Charge 30T, which already in the OnePlus 7T proved us to be an even faster system than that of the 7 Pro itself. to see how it behaves in this new model since the capacity of its battery increases by 380 mAh compared to that of 7T.
Of course, the wireless charging is still not present, which apparently would be one of the features that OnePlus has decided to reserve for the next OnePlus 8.
Its software should be said that, after the OnePlus 7T, it is the second model to be presented with a licensed version of Android 10 inside, and OxygenOS 10 is responsible for complementing all those deficiencies of the Google operating system, new features are included as a more advanced customization panel, improved gameplay. Also, OnePlus launches an instant translation system for video calls, which will be available through a future update.
OnePlus also ensures two years of system updates and an extra one of security patches.
The triple camera now looks better up close
Without being its strong point, the photographic section of the OnePlus 7 Pro was good enough to place it near - although not at the height - of the reference models in this regard. That is why OnePlus has decided not to make too many changes in this aspect.
The rear sensors are maintained, led by the 48-megapixel main with f / 1.7 and optical stabilizer, which is accompanied by a 16-megapixel Super Wide Angle, which is now also capable of recording video. Finally, repeat the “telephoto” of 8 megapixels capable of performing optical zoom of three magnifications unlike the one included in the OnePlus 7T, with 12 megapixels and zoom of up to two magnifications.
On the front - or, better said, on the top - the 16-megapixel f / 2.0 camera with autofocus is maintained, which, in addition to allowing selfies, enables the device's face to unlock system.
As a no feature, the macro mode is introduced to capture images of objects at a distance of only 2.5 centimeters from the sensor.
OnePlus 7T Pro price and release date
OnePlus has decided to wait until this event in London to announce the launch date and the price of the two models of the OnePlus 7T series. The model presented a few weeks ago remains at 662 dollars, while this new OnePlus 7T Pro goes sale at 839 dollars. Its launch is scheduled for next October 15.
