Realme 5s Full Specifications, Features, Price and Release Date

Realme 5 was introduced in India in August and three months later and has a successor, or rather a slightly revamped version. This is the Realme 5s, a new economic device that makes the jump to 48 megapixels and the four lenses.

The Realme 5s is identical to the Realme 5 in most of its specifications, except for the main lens of the rear camera, now 48 megapixels instead of 12 and in the colors available: now also in red.

More Megapixels for the Midrange

The Realme 5 arrived with a specification sheet quite loaded for its price range, and the Realme 5s inherits it almost entirely and with a price that is still lower. That is, you have more megapixels for less money.

The main - and almost unique - change of this reissue of Realme 5 is in the back. There are still four lenses arranged vertically, although now the main sensor is 48 megapixels with an aperture of f /1.8, powered by the Samsung GM1 sensor.

The other lenses remain unchanged, both front and back. Behind there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle, a 2-megapixel lens to make the necessary depth calculations for portraits and another 2 megapixels to make macro photography 4 cm away. As for the selfies, 13 megapixels and f / 2.0 aperture.

Snapdragon 665 and 5,000 mAh

The rest of the specification sheet remains, for better or worse, the same. That is, a 6.5- inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 with a drop-shaped notch and the fingerprint reader located in the back.

The processor chosen is Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, here with a single combination of RAM, 4 GB. Storage offers you more options: it is available with 64 GB or 128 GB, both expandable by microSD card.

The battery of the Realme 5s remains the same as the Realme 5, but that does not stop attracting attention. They are 5,000 mAh capacity that is charged at a standard speed of 5V / 2A (10W), yes, with a MicroUSB cable. The smartphone has a mini-jack and comes standard with Android Pie with Color OS 6.

Realme 5s Versions, Release Date and Prices

The Realme 5s has been officially presented in India, where it goes on sale today (20-11-2019) on Flipkart and the company's official website. It is available in three colors: red, blue and purple, all with metallic effects. These are the versions and prices of which we know so far:

• 4 + 128 GB , 10,999 Indian rupees, about 153 dollars to change.
