Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could arrive with a Snapdragon 855

Do you remember when Samsung took out devices of the "S" range with the label "Lite"? Normally we were faced with models that with their older brothers had little to do beyond the denomination of turn and a certain resemblance as far as design was concerned.


And that is something that could change with the arrival of a new model that could bear the name of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. Yes, a version of the paper cut from the best-selling Samsung of which a synthetic test has just revealed some surprises. We would be before a smartphone that would not understand adjusted benefits.

Lite and Snapdragon 855?

For now, the information must be taken with tweezers, as it refers to performance tests that had leaked and that speak of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor inside the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. The same as his older brothers and the one who also mounts the Galaxy Note 10. Of course, we talk about the markets in which Samsung does not choose to launch its phones with SoC Exynos.

According to the Geekbench 5 tab, this model would bear the code name of Samsung SM-G770F and next to the Qualcomm star processor for this year, it would arrive with 8GB of RAM. In its day it was rumored that it would also be accompanied by 128 GB of expandable internal storage through a microSD.

Geekbench results aside, for now, there would be no news of this new phone that supposedly would have the Korean brand on the exit ramp. We are left with references to a possible 6.7-inch screen with Full HD + resolution.

Data that would be completed with a 4,500 mAh battery with a fast charge of 45W, a triple camera system with a 48-megapixel one in command, 12 megapixels with a super wide-angle lens and 5 megapixels for depth readings (fashion we are going). For the front camera, we would have 32 megapixels and all seasoned with Android 10.

With all these data, it is striking that, if met, we would be facing a model that "Lite" would have little and in fact would outperform the Samsung Galaxy S10e, which for example, uses "only" 6 GB of RAM. We will have to wait for the presentation to see and know if we are facing a version in the Galaxy S10 family or if Samsung is already winking at the "S" series of 2020.
