Sony Xperia 0 will be released in 2020 with six rear cameras

The Sony should re-invest heavily in its line of smartphones in 2020, releasing at least four new premium models, all with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and processor support 5G. According to the Japanese site Android Next, the model named Xperia 0 may be the main one.

Sony's new flagship will have six cameras at the rear, according to the publication. The main sensor is 48 MP with a variable f / 1.2 / f2.4 lens, accompanied by a 12 MP secondary and the same lens apertures.

Completing the Hexa-cam set are 20 MP f / 2.4 aperture, 16 MP f / 2.4 aperture sensors, and 8 MP also with f / 2.4 aperture, plus a 0.5 MP depth sensor.

Information from Android Next also suggests that the Sony Xperia 0 will feature a 5K display, but there is no further detail regarding the amount of RAM and storage capacity. Rumors suggest that the long-awaited top-of-the-line smartphone will be launched at IFA 2020, which takes place in early September in Berlin (Germany).

Other news from the Sony Xperia line

Sony Xperia 1.1 is another possible launch of the brand that appears in the leaks of the Japanese site. The redesigned version of the Xperia 1 should gain a 4K resolution display, a new set of four cameras and 5G connectivity.

Also mentioned were the Xperia 3, which would be the successor to the curved design Xperia Z2 Compact, 21: 9 aspect ratio and three rear cameras, and Xperia 5.1, an evolution of Xperia 5, adding a quad camera and screen QHD.

But unlike the Sony Xperia 0, scheduled for the second half, these other Japanese-branded models are due to be introduced early in 2020, appearing in the upcoming edition of MWC in Barcelona (Spain), which takes place in February.
