Although it might seem that all the fish sold is already available, there are still mobile phones left during the remainder of 2019. And Vivo knows it well, which is an expert manufacturer in nurturing models of all price ranges.

The Vivo U20 is the company's latest mobile, a smartphone that has been introduced in India and offers a set of medium quality at a demolition price. It is a strategy to which many Chinese brands have joined: multiple cameras, a more than decent SoC, a huge screen and big battery. Four keys that the Vivo U20 complies with.

Since the Vivo U20 is a cheap mobile, at least considering the original price of India, we can already intuit that the phone's hardware will remain in line with the economic. Without implying poor performance, at least on paper: the Snapdragon 675 that moves the Vivo U20 offers sufficient guarantees of speed and fluidity. It also has artificial intelligence and specific improvements for gaming.

As usual mobile phones, the screen goes beyond 6 inches without the final dimensions of the phone are exaggerated: the "notch" drop of water for the front camera helps contain the size. And it maintains an adequate resolution since it does not descend to HD +; staying in FHD + on an IPS LCD panel.

Triple camera with a macro lens

It is fashionable to bring multiple rear cameras also to the lowest range of phones, there is no doubt about that. And that's what the Vivo U20 does: a triple camera module dominates the back of the phone to offer not only personality but also a varied selection of possibilities.

Apart from the 16-megapixel main sensor with angular optics, the Vivo U20 has an 8-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens (120º wide). AI is not escaped in the camera application for automatic scene selection, nor is the bokeh mode for portraits or video recording in 4K (and 60 fps in 1080p). In addition, the Vivo U20 has an exclusive camera to take macro photos. Now, it's not that the resolution is very generous: 2 megapixels with a very limited aperture for photos at such a short distance, f / 2.4.

Storage is somewhat limited since it stays in the 64 GB without the option to 128 GB. It does maintain a sufficient amount of RAM with the option to choose between two versions: 4 and 6 GB. With another detail that its owners surely appreciate: the battery goes to 5000 mAh.

Vivo U20 versions, release date, and prices

The Vivo U20 will start selling in India from November 28 at 12 noon local time. Their prices will be 153 dollars at the exchange rate (10,990 rupees) for the 4/64 GB version and 167 dollars at the exchange rate (11,990 rupees) for the most complete model of the two, the Vivo U20 of 6/64 GB.
