Compare Xiaomi Redmi K30 4G and Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G

After many rumors and leaks, Redmi has officially presented the new Redmi K30 and K30 5G at an event that has been held in China. The company's new mid-range devices, the first of the firm to accept 5G network technology, arrive in two variants, although at the moment no detail has been offered on a Pro model, a smartphone that will probably be released in the coming months.

The Redmi K30 and K30 5G are practically the same, except for some exceptions. For example, the K30 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor inside, while the 5G variant comes with the Snapdragon 765G. Smartphones that have revealed all their features and specifications and that stand out for their four rear cameras and their 120 Hz screen.

Features, specifications, and global price

The Redmi K30 has a design that combines metal with glass. Both the 4G version and the 5G model feature a 6.67-inch LCD screen, with thin bezels, a hole in the upper right corner that houses the front cameras and a 120 Hz screen refreshment. In the rear area, a circular design around the quad rear camera configuration stands out, which is arranged vertically in the center of the device, and just below you can see the company logo.

Inside, the Redmi K30 keeps a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, while the 5G variant comes with the Snapdragon 765G. Both smartphones have 6/8 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of internal storage; In addition to a 4500 mAh battery with a fast charging of 27 W for the 4G model and 30 W for the 5G version. Among other features, both have a side fingerprint reader, minijack, NFC, USB Type-C and the same cameras.

In the rear area, there are four cameras, consisting of a main 64-megapixel lens, a wide 8-megapixel lens, a 2 megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. In the front, both devices have a double camera, formed by the main sensor of 20 megapixels and a secondary one of 2 megapixels.
