Vivo announced the mid-range smartphone Y9s, built on the Vivo S5 model, which debuted last month.

The device is equipped with a 6.38 ”Super AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution (2340 × 1080 pixels) and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. There is a drop-shaped cutout at the top of the screen - a camera 32-megapixel front panel is installed on it. Also, a fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area.

The main camera is made in the form of a four-component block. The modules involved are 48 MP (f / 1.8) and 8 MP (f / 2.2) and two 2 MP sensors.

The "heart" of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 665 processor. The chip contains eight Kryo 260 cores with a clock rate of up to 2.0 GHz and an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM is 8 GB.

The equipment includes a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB, which can be complemented with a microSD card. The battery is charged with 4500 mAh power, with support for fast 18-watt recharging.

These include the 802.11ac Wi-Fi wireless adapter, the Type C USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone runs the Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 operating system.

Vivo Y9s Price and Release Date

The Vivo Y9s price is set at CNY 1,998 (roughly 284 $). The smartphone will be available for purchase in China starting December 6.
