Huawei P40 displays two front, three rear cameras and full leak design
Not yet officially announced, rumors about the new Huawei P40 line are starting to gain even more strength as we approach the launch window of previous years. With the P30 line being announced at the end of March 2019, Huawei may continue to announce the upcoming P-series models around the same time.
With that in mind, 91mobiles now reveals images that may represent Huawei's final design for one of two models of the company's flagship family for the first half of 2020, or three, as rumors point to Huawei's announcement P40 Max.
As we can see above, the image shows the common P40 front panel with few edges and an oblong / pill-shaped notch to house the two front sensors, but there is no detail yet as to the resolution or usefulness of each.
Already in the back cover, we can notice the presence of three main cameras, possibly one with a common lens, another wide-angle and another with a telephoto lens. The image also confirms that Huawei will not bet on the periscope lens to achieve lossless 5x zoom, keeping only the round 2x zoom lens. The partnership with Leica continues.
On the rest of the smartphone, we see the buttons for volume and power, plus the holes for sound output, USB-C connector and SIM chip drawer. You can also see the total of seven antenna lines, confirming the support for 5G in the model: we see two at the top, two below, two on the right side and one on the left side.
The entire 2020 P40 line (independent of two or three models) should be powered by the Kirin 990 chipset and offer EMUI 10-based Android 10, but still without Google services due to the US-China trade war that directly affected Huawei.
