Huawei nova 7i Specifications, Price and Release Date

Huawei continues to fill its ranks in the mid-range around the world with the new Huawei Nova 7i , the first to receive the seventh digit of the Nova series. It is a mobile with four cameras, Kirin 810 and a fairly interesting price, around 265 dollars to change.


The Huawei Nova 7i reminds a lot of the Huawei Nova 6 SE that the Chinese presented on their land at the end of 2019, but that for some reason has received a new numbering and an even tighter price, also standing out for its perforated camera on the screen or the rapid load 40W .


At this point we have become accustomed to finding a large number of lenses in all segments, but that is why we cannot take credit for "cheap" smartphones that give greater flexibility when taking pictures by including different types of lenses. There are four in total, with a 48-megapixel main camera with f / 1.8 aperture .

It is accompanied by a wide angle of 8 MP f / 2.4, a lens for macro photography of 2 MP f / 2.4 and a third sensor of 2 MP for depth calculation. In front, the selfies come in charge of a 16 megapixel f / 2.0 camera integrated into a perforation on the screen.

Speaking of the screen, we have an LCD panel with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a resolution of 2310 x 1080. Being an LCD, the fingerprint reader moves to the side, because Huawei has preferred to keep the back only with the module for cameras and brand logo.

Kirin 810 and 40W fast charge

As for the processor, Huawei has opted for the Kirin 810 7nm, something like HiSilicon Snapdragon 730, with two Cortex A76 cores at 2.27GHz and a second group of six Cortex A55 cores at 1.88GHz. There is only a single variant of the Huawei Nova 7i, with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage using an NMCard card.

One of the strengths of the Huawei Nova 7i is in its battery. Not so much in the capacity of the same, 4,200 mAh that are not bad at all, but in the support for fast charging of 40W , somewhat higher than what we are used to in this price range.


As for the connectivity of the Huawei Nova 7i, the only one missing is the NFC , with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, headphone minijack connection and FM radio. The smartphone is charged using a USB-C cable.

Release Date and prices

The Huawei Nova 7i is official at the moment in Malaysia and we have no information about its possible sale in other regions. There it is available with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage in the colors green, pink and black, the first two with gradient effects. Its official price is 1,099 Malaysian ringgits, about 265 dollars to change .
