LG K61, LG K51S and LG K41S Feature, Price and Release Date


LG announced on Tuesday (18), its new line of intermediate smartphones of the K family. According to the company, the devices bring updated design, good specifications and prices for all budgets.



Thus, the new LG K61, K51S, and K41S reach the consumer with four rear cameras and a look that resembles that of other premium devices. In addition, the three also have a 6.5-inch screen, 4,000 mAh battery, MIL-STD 810G military certification, USB-C port and digital reader on the rear.


Other highlights include a dedicated Google Assistant button, MicroSD card slot, NFC and support for DTS: X 3D Surround audio technology. So, without further ado, let's get to know each LG model:

LG K61

Launched as the most powerful of the trio, the LG K61 has a premium design and features a 6.5-inch FHD + screen with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. LG does not name the processor (possibly a MediaTek), but it is clocked at 2.3 GHz and works in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM and options for 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.




When it comes to cameras, the front has 16 MP. The rear set includes four sensors: main 48 MP, 8 MP wide-angle, 2 MP macro and 5 MP depth. Finally, the whole set is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, while the device is sold in titanium, white and blue.

LG K51S

The LG K51S is considered the "middleman" of the trio. So it keeps the 6.5-inch screen with a 20: 9 aspect ratio. However, the display resolution drops to only HD +. In addition, the device also has the same chipset as its bigger brother, but brings 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, with a microSD slot.


With four rear cameras, the set consists of the main sensor of 32 MP, 5 MP Wide, 2 MP macro and 2 MP depth. The front camera has 13 MP, while the battery is also 4,000 mAh. Finally, the device is sold in titanium, pink and blue colors.

LG K41S

Finally, the LG K41S is the cheapest in the line. It features a 6.5-inch screen with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and only HD + resolution. The processor is also a MediaTek clocked at 2.0 GHz, which works in conjunction with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, also with the possibility of expansion.




The four rear cameras are 13 MP main, 5 MP wide, 2 MP macro and 2 MP for depth. The selfies sensor is 8 MP, while the battery has 4,000 mAh.

Pricing and Release Date

Despite promising that the devices should be launched on the market at a low price, LG has not published how much it will charge for each model, nor has it commented on when they will be available to the consumer, saying only that they reach the American continent in this second quarter.
