Oppo Reno 3 Vitality Specifications, Price and Release Date

Oppo decided that the Reno 3 line could benefit from a restructuring, depending on how things look, since we do not indicate that the current Reno 3 or Reno 3 Pro go anywhere. What we do know is that there is now an edition of Reno 3 Vitality , officially underway and gathering pre-orders.

Vitality is essentially Reno 3 with some internal parts exchanged and new colors. The first major change is a Snapdragon 765 chipset, instead of the Mediatek MT6885Z Dimensity 1000L. The first is theoretically a little faster, bringing the Reno 3 Vitality closer to the Reno 3 Pro. Although the Pro has the Snapdragon 765G technically better. In general, this particular chip does not seem to be important in terms of gross performance, so, perhaps, does Oppo have other reasons, potentially related to the differences in 5G connectivity offered by the two respective mid-range chips? We really can't say for sure.

The other major internal change produced by the Vitality edition is a reduction, at least on paper, that is, to a 48MP main camera. Again, closing the gap with the Reno 3 Pro for some reason. The Vitality also seems to be jumping in the upper memory level of the Reno 3 and is currently only offered in an 8GB configuration, plus 128GB. This leads us to lean more towards a restructuring or a slight theory of readjustment behind Vitality, to better adapt to the market. And last but not least, the Vitality edition comes in a trio of new colors: Moonlight Black, Sky Mirror White and Streamer Gold.

In addition to these changes and a new coat of paint, Oppo Reno 3 Vitality seems identical to his brother. It has the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1080 x 2400 pixels, with the same teardrop notch for the 32MP selfie camera. The same 4,025 mAh battery, with 30 W fast charging support and all other small bells and whistles, such as a 3.5 mm audio jack and NFC. Its price is 430 dollars. Reception of orders will begin on February 14.
