Oppo Reno 3 Pro 4G Full Specifications, Price and Release Date


The announcement of the Reno 3 Pro 5G in China two months before, Oppo now introduces its powerful mid range smartphone in India with some internal changes to fit the local market, which includes removing 5G connectivity and one of the main features of the smartphone which is its screen 90 Hz.



The third generation of the Reno line subverts much of what smartphone series fans expected from Oppo.


 It completely ignores the illustrious design that marked the first models such as the Reno and Reno 10x, forgetting the language with elements centered on the rear, main cameras flush with the body and the notched screen with the front camera in the exclusive retractable fin-shaped module.

Compared to the 5G model, the 4G model loses the 3D screen curved on the sides even while maintaining the Super AMOLED panel. 

Besides, the front region gains another camera and stretches the notch, leaving the circular to make it oblong (or in pill format) and housing the two front sensors: the main one with a resolution of 44 MP and another for depth data field.

The back cover features the same four cameras as the 5G model, all positioned with a protruding module in the upper left corner, basically reminding of any other current smartphone (different from the characteristic design of the first generation of the Reno line). It offers a 64 MP main sensor manufactured by Samsung, a 13 MP sensor with a telephoto lens, an 8 MP sensor for the wide-angle lens and a 2 MP sensor for depth data.



Among one of the most drastic changes is for the processor. The Reno 3 Pro 5G Oppo bet on a Qualcomm platform, the 4G model offers a MediaTek chipset, the Helio P95 with eight cores up to 2.2 GHz. Working together with the chip Reno 3 Pro has two variants of 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage, both with 8 GB of RAM.




The Reno 3 Pro 4G continues to offer the same battery cell with 4,025 mAh and 30W of power through Oppo's exclusive fast-charging system, VOOC 4.0. The company promises a 50% charge in just 20 minutes connected to the outlet and 100% in less than an hour.

Price and Release Date

The Reno 3 Pro 4G arrives in India this Friday, March 6th, with a suggested price of 29,999 rupees (412 $) for the 128 GB model and 32,990 rupees (453 $) for the model with 256 GB of internal storage. There is still no forecast for launch in other regions of the world.
