Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro Features, Price and Release Date

After many rumors, leaks, and teasers, Realme finally introduced its new smartphones Realme 6 and 6 Pro to the public. The devices were launched in India and seek to attract consumers who are looking for a good cost-benefit ratio.

Therefore, both models have a screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and the user can still choose between the option with a MediaTek or Snapdragon processor.

Without further ado, let's get to know the new devices of the Realme ascendant.

Despite being launched just five months after its predecessors, the new Realme 6 and 6 Pro arrive on the market with a series of significant improvements. Therefore, the executives of the brand emphasize that both can be considered "Pro" devices.

Realme 6 and its big brother adopt premium construction, the screen of both is 6.5 inch IPS LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The biggest difference here is in the number of holes to accommodate the front camera since in the Pro model we have two sensors for selfies.

According to the manufacturer, both have Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display - Pro model also has on the glass back - and a fingerprint reader on the side.

Now, when it comes to cameras, Realme 6 brings a single 16 MP sensor for selfies. Its rear is made up of four more sensors, the main one being 64 MP (Samsung GW1), the secondary one 8 MP (ultra-wide), the third one 2 MP (depth) and the last 2 MP (macro).

Realme 6 Pro uses two front cameras: 16 MP (Sony IMX471) + 8 MP (105ยบ ultra-wide). Like its brother, this model also has four rear sensors, but with some improvements. The main lens is the same as 64 MP (Samsung GW1).

The secondary sensor is 8 MP (ultra-wide), the third lens is a 12 MP telephoto to offer 2x optical zoom and 20x hybrid, while the fourth is a 2 MP macro lens with a 4 cm focal length.

Both feature Night Scape 3.0 for night shots, a professional model for capturing RAW format images and dual UIS video stabilization.

Despite the similar design, the new Realme 6 and 6 Pro are different inside. Thus, the first uses the MediaTek Helio G90T processor, while the second adopts the Snapdragon 720G chipset.

Both offer variants with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Another common point in both is the 4,300 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging and Android 10 as the operating system.
