Redmi Note 9S Official with 6.67 inch Display and 5020 mAh Battery

Xiaomi announced the global version of the Redmi Note 9 family. Known as Redmi Note 9S, the device arrives with the same specifications as the Redmi Note 9 Pro announced earlier this month.


With that, Redmi Note 9S is powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor, four rear cameras, updated design and battery with powerful 5,020 mAh.

Confirmed as the global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the new Note 9S features the same glass construction on its rear. Also, the device has four cameras allocated within a central rectangular module.


Its screen is a 6.67 inch IPS LCD with FHD + resolution and a hole in the display to accommodate the 16 MP front camera. According to Xiaomi, this display has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and brings Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

To the delight of many, Xiaomi also confirmed that the device reaches the consumer with a P2 input for headphones and the already traditional infrared sensor. The colors are: white, blue and gray.

When comes to cameras, the new Redmi Note 9S has four rear sensors. The main is 48 MP (Samsung GM2), while the second is a wide-angle (119º) of 8 MP.

The third, on the other hand, adopts a 2 MP macro lens with a focal length of 2 cm, the last 2 MP being used for depth effect.

Considering that we are talking about an intermediate smartphone, the device reaches the consumer with a Snapdragon 720G processor, which works with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage.


The device also supports memory expansion via MicroSD card, with a battery of 5,020 mAh. The Redmi Note 9S also features fast charging 18W.
