ZTE Axon 11 5G Launched with Snapdragon 765G Chipset and Biometric Reader Under Display

ZTE Axon 11 is presented to the Chinese market, further increasing the competitiveness of a segment that already very disputed.

Axon 10s Pro 5G offering a great cost-benefit in the line tops market, as well as the previous generation, the manufacturer now adopts an aggressive strategy in its new intermediary, integrating 5G connectivity with high refresh rates, wireless charging and four rear cameras with a 64 MP main sensor.


ZTE pays great attention to the finish, construction, and design of the intermediate smartphone to stand out among the competitors: it offers a 3D screen along the lines of the high-performance models and, although it continues with the drop notch, it presents an update rate screen 90 Hz as another highlight.


The rear cover has two color options: keeping only one black and one white variant, without a blue option as in the ZTE Axon 10S.

In the camera set, the manufacturer features a 20 MP front sensor for selfies and a set of four rear cameras positioned in a square module with 64 MP main sensor, 8 MP sensor with wide-angle lens and two other 2 MP sensors each, one with a macro lens and the other dedicated to a depth of field data.

The hardware is in charge of Qualcomm's efficient Snapdragon 765G, an intermediate chipset that has stood out for offering low prices for its segment and newer technologies such as 7-nanometer construction and support for the 5G network, something that the Axon 11 does not leave it out.


With options of 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM and storage of 128 GB and 256 GB, the smartphone has a 4,000 mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 fast charging and wireless charging, Android 10 running under ZTE's interface, the MiFavor 10 and also offers a biometric reader under the display.

Price and Release Date

The ZTE Axon 11 will be available in China in variants of 6 GB + 128 GB for the price of 2,698 yuan (380 $), 8 GB + 128 GB for 2,998 yuan (422 $) and, finally, a third more powerful model with 8 GB + 256 GB for 3,398 yuan (479$). It has not yet been released if the manufacturer plans to announce an international version of the intermediary, but if that is in the plans, ZTE should present news soon.
