Honor X10 5G Launched: Price, Release Date and Features

The Chinese giant Honor, Huawei's sub-brand, launched Honor X10 5G. Interestingly, instead of calling it Honor 10X, the company chose to use the name X10 5G, to avoid confusion with the Redmi 10X.

Compared to its predecessor, the Honor X10 5G brings, in addition, to support for the fifth generation of mobile networks a notch screen, top-of-the-line cameras, and a generous battery.


Speaking of specifications, here is a smartphone that weighs 203 grams and is only 8.8 mm thick, with a 6.63 ”IPS LCD screen without a notch, with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and 90 Hz refresh rate (with touch response) 180 Hz).

For processing, Honor opted for the Kirin 820 chipset, which includes the same ISP 5.0 processor to assist in image processing, promising great photos even in low light.

On the camera side, for the front, we have a 16 MP pop-up module. At the rear, the phone features 40 MP sensors (Sony IMX600y, the same as the Honor V30 Pro and Huawei Mate Xs ) + 8 MP (ultra-wide) and 2 MP (depth).

On the memory side, we have 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage of 64 GB or 128 GB. The battery of the smartphone has 4.300 mAh and supports fast charging of 22.5-Watts.


The pre-installed operating system is Android 10, running under the Magic UI 3.1 interface. Regarding 5G connectivity, the Honor X10 supports 9 bands (n41, n78, n79, n1, n77, n38, n80, and n84) delivering, according to the manufacturer, download speeds of up to 1003 Mbps.

An interesting differential is the presence of SUL (Super Uplink) technology that promises to increase the uplink rate by 412%.

The model also has a fingerprint reader on the side, capable of unlocking it in just 0.3 seconds. In terms of connectivity, we have the presence of dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C, and P2 input for headphones.
