Huawei Y5P and Huawei Y6P Announced alongside Huawei MatePad T8: Price, Release Date and Features

Huawei launched the Y5P and Y6P smartphones and the MatePad T8 tablet in Europe. The devices are focused on the entry market.

Huawei Y5P

The Huawei Y5P comes equipped with a MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 5.45" 18: 9 TFT LCD screen with 1440x720 pixels HD + resolution, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with MicroSD card expansion, 5 MP front camera, 8 MP rear camera, 3020 mAh battery and Android 10 running under EMUI 10.1 without Google Play Services, available in black, blue and green, the device goes on pre-order from 4th May costing the equivalent of 130 dollars.

Huawei Y6P

The Huawei Y6P is a slightly more robust version of the Y5P, presenting very similar specifications. The model also features a MediaTek Helio P22 processor but has a 6.3" 18: 9 screen with HD + resolution of 1440x720 pixels, 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage, 8 MP front camera housed in a drop notch, a triple set of 13 MP main rear lens + 5 MP ultra-wide + 2 MP depth, a fingerprint reader on the rear, 5,000 mAh battery and Android 10 under EMUI 10.1 also without Google services.
The device will have its pre-sale started 4th May, in black, green, and purple, costing the equivalent of 175 dollars.

Huawei MatePad T8

Finally, the Chinese also announced the MatePad T8, third of the new line started with MatePad Pro. The T8 features a MediaTek MTK8768 processor, 8 "LCD screen with 1280x800 pixel HD resolution, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB or 32 GB of expandable storage, 2 MP front, and 5 MP rear camera, 5,100 mAh battery and Android 10 under EMUI 10.1, also without the presence of Google Play services.
