Huawei Y8s Unveiled with Dual Front Camera: Price, Release Date and Features

Chinese giant presents the new Huawei Y8s in Jordan offering an evolution of the already known model and maintaining its main feature: a set of two rear cameras and two front cameras.

Available in Emerald Green and Midnight Black, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch screen, IPS LCD panel, Full HD + resolution, and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. As a more accessible smartphone, the Y8s adopts a Kirin 710 chipset developed by Huawei itself, which uses eight cores for the processor, four of which are based on Cortex-A73 with 2.2 GHz clock, and another four on Cortex-A53 up to 1.7 GHz.

As a highlight for its cameras, the device arrives with two rear lenses with a primary sensor of 48 MP and secondary of 2 MP for the depth of field data, with the same logic applying to the front lenses, with the main of higher resolution for photography, offering 8 MP, and the second of only 2 MP dedicated also for depth data.

About other specifications, the smartphone arrives with a battery of 4,000 mAh and simple charging of 5V / 2A, offering a voltage of only 10W.
Among the most negative points, we have the presence of Android 9 instead of the latest version and the use of the old micro USB connector instead of the new USB-C that should already be adopted by the company here.

With two models of 4 GB of RAM and options of 64 GB and 128 GB, the Huawei Y8s has not gained official details regarding price and sales start date in Jordan, but such information is expected to be revealed very soon.
