Vivo has launched the latest S series smartphones S19 and S1S Pro in China. Both phones are suitable for users who prioritize stylish design, powerful performance and exceptional cameras. Let's take a closer look at the features of each model.

Display:

Both the S19 and S19 Pro have a large and immersive 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels) and a consistent 120Hz refresh rate that delivers a smooth experience of user. The screen offers vivid images with HDR10+ support, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, a peak brightness of up to 4500 nits and 2160Hz PWM Dimming, ensuring excellent brightness even in bright outdoor conditions.

Performance:

The standard S19 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor based on the 4nm process, paired with LPDDR5 RAM options from 8GB to 16GB. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB, with larger capacities likely to use the faster UFS 3.1 storage for higher data transfer speeds (certain 256GB models may use UFS 2.2).

The S19 Pro kicks things up a notch with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor, also built on a 4nm process. This processor has Immortalis-G715 GPU for better graphics processing. The Pro model offers LPDDR5X RAM options from 8GB to 16GB and UFS 3.1 storage options from 256GB to 512GB.

Cameras:

Both phones have a 50MP primary camera, but with different sensors. The S19 uses the OmniVision OV50E sensor, while the S19 Pro includes a high-quality Sony IMX921 sensor with a larger sensor (1/1.56 inches) for better low-light performance.

They share an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, but the S19 Pro has an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom aimed at users who enjoy portraits. Both models have a powerful 50-megapixel front camera for high-resolution selfies.

Other Features:

The S19 and S19 Pro run the latest Android 14 operating system on top of Vivo OriginOS 4. Both phones have in-display fingerprint sensors for secure unlocking and stereo speakers with Hi-Res support for an immersive multimedia experience.

The S19 has a larger 6000mAh battery, while the S19 Pro has a slightly smaller 5500mAh battery. Both phones support 80W fast charging for fast charging. The S19 Pro goes a step further thanks to its IP68 and IP69 ratings, which indicate resistance to dust, water and even hot water.
