Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro Price, Release Date and Fetures

Xiaomi has officially presented the Redmi 8A Pro, a low-end device whose main features are the large 5,000 mAh battery that it incorporates and, above all, its price, which remains below 100 dollars.

The display stays in generous dimensions while taking advantage of the front with its drop-shaped top cutout for the selfie camera. 6.22 inches diagonal, IPS LCD panel with HD + resolution and splash resistance thanks to the P2i treatment of the phone.


The design is nice and with a plastic finish. Three colors to choose from (Gray, Blue, and White), Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen, a processor that complies without exaggeration, extremely tight RAM and storage, space for SD memory and attractive options for a good part of users, such as the headphone jack and the FM radio.

Xiaomi has not placed too many differences in the Redmi 8A Pro compared to the 'basic' Redmi 8A, but it has decided to dual the rear cameras to enhance photographic capabilities. So the new model boasts a main 13-megapixel sensor alongside a 2-megapixel sensor that captures depth. All accompanied by an 8-megapixel front camera and the usual MIUI capture software.

As far as memory is concerned, the Xiaomi Redmi 8A Pro will be marketed in two different versions: 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM or 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. In both cases, the storage capacity can be extended using microSD cards of up to 512 GB.

Finally, the Redmi 8A Pro has a 5,000 mAh capacity battery capable of feeding on power at a maximum rate of 18 W (with the compatible charger).
